About Us


Diablo Valley ENT was formerly Scott, Hsieh, & Associates and was founded in 1985 by Dr. Edmund Schroff.  The practice is dedicated to providing the highest quality care in the specialty of Otorhinolaryngology.  Together, Drs. Timothy Scott, Abraham Hsieh, and Michael Murphy bring years of university-based experience to provide a complete array of tertiary care services to the Diablo Valley community with offices in Walnut Creek and San Ramon.  They are board certified by The American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.  Additionally, they are staff members of the John Muir Medical Center and San Ramon Regional Medical Center.  They perform head and neck surgery at these facilities, as well as Sequoia Surgical Pavilion, Aspen Surgery Center, and the San Ramon Regional Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Diablo Valley ENT offers comprehensive consultative clinical services in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders involving the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.  voice, swallowing, balance, and sinuses.


Specialized testing and innovative treatments are available, including endoscopic examination, microscopic ear examination, audiology testing, and videostroboscopy, FEES testing, as well as surgical intervention.
